Top Best Tourist Stops in California

There are so many tourist attractions in California that it is difficult to narrow them down, but there are a few that stand out.
Everyone who visits Los Angeles wants to see the Hollywood sign. This iconic landmark has adorned Mount Lee in the Hollywood Hills since 1923. It can be seen from all over the city and reminds everyone that Hollywood is the home of the entertainment industry. While you're there, visit Universal Studios Hollywood celebrating their 50th anniversary. They have some amazing rides including the new Fast and Furious Supercharged, and Jurassic Park-The Ride. At Universal City Walk you'll enjoy first class shopping and entertainment. Stay at the beautiful Loews Hollywood Hotel or The Garland and have the vacation of a lifetime.

Disneyland is another famous tourist attraction that brings thousands to California each year. All the famous rides are there including Space Mountain and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. The parades and fireworks are exciting and the dining is fantastic. Enjoy every type of food imaginable at one of the many themed restaurants. Stroll down Main Street USA and stop in the quaint shops for a souvenir or some fudge. You never know which Disney character is on Main Street waiting to meet you.

For a change of pace, take a drive to San Diego and experience the wonder of this beautiful city. While there, spend the day at the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. There is a giant panda exhibit, giraffes, a white rhino and other interesting and exotic animals to see. The Safari Park offers tours that include a variety of safaris to choose from. In the evening, visit the Gaslamp Quarter for some music and dancing at one of the great clubs there.

In San Francisco there is so much beauty and history with so many things to do. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and spend time in a city so rich with culture and class. The incredible Victorian houses and cable cars are part of what makes the city famous. Fisherman's Wharf is a very popular tourist attraction in the northern waterfront area. Take a walk down Pier 39 and through the Cannery Shopping Center. Visit Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum and the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf.

These are just a few of the best tourist attractions in California for you to enjoy during your next visit to the Golden State. Have fun!
